Walnut Warmth

This mid-century home, originally owned by the same family since the 1950s, had lost some of its original charm due to various updates over the decades. The goal was to restore that mid-century modern appeal while creating an open, collaborative space for the new young family. One of the key challenges was installing cabinetry on an existing brick fireplace wall, which allowed the design team to connect two separate spaces into one cohesive area. The result is a stunning coffee bar and pantry with floating shelves, providing a perfect home for the fridge. The rich walnut cabinets added warmth and character, with the custom walnut hood serving as a beautiful focal point, exceeding the homeowners’ expectations.
