What began as a tiny summer camp on a Vermont lake has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm and welcoming full-time residence. Having already completed two previous Showplace projects with this client, there was never any question that Showplace Cabinetry would be part of the journey once again.

One of the biggest challenges was the structure itself. The original building required extensive work to level both the floors and ceilings before the renovation could begin. Once the foundation was ready, the design focused on creating a kitchen that felt both functional and true to the home’s lakeside character.

Rich wood cabinetry, open shelving, and natural textures work together to create a relaxed, cabin-inspired atmosphere. A central island provides valuable prep space and gathering room, while thoughtful storage solutions maximize every inch of the compact footprint. Rustic details, warm finishes, and views of the surrounding landscape give the space a welcoming personality that feels perfectly at home on the lake.
