Custom bookshelves above doors and windows showcase an extensive international cookbook collection, turning everyday storage into a personal design feature. Using the Showplace ColorSelect program with Sherwin-Williams’ “Plum Brown”, the cabinetry brings warmth and a modern edge to the home’s cottage character. Each wall was designed to feel like a standalone furniture piece, inspired by a cherished family heirloom Hoosier cabinet the homeowner wished to preserve.

A custom hood anchors the space, flanked by deep, functional storage on both sides. Specialized cabinetry and a dedicated pantry provide generous storage, ensuring this kitchen is as efficient as it is inviting—perfect for hosting memorable dinner parties.
